Some fun pool time.
I loved this sketch soooo much that I had it use it more than once...lol!!

My next layout is a page about my Daughter and Grandson and their selfie. I used a sketch from Sketches In Thyme.

Nom Nom Nom

My Gransdon loves his Nonno's pasta so I used the April sketch from April Lilli to document it. I love how it turned out!

Hellllloooooo

Well it is time to dust off the cobwebs on my blog and post some layouts.

Back in April I participated in challenges for Paper Issues.
For the Pinspire Me challenge I created this layout of my Grandson Luca helping his Daddy cook up a little supper.

I also made a layout for the New Issue Monday challenge. My little Luca at the park.

The other challenge I participated in was the Take 5 Tuesday and I used a photo of Mario and Luca doing a bit of strumming on the guitar.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcoming the upcoming new addition to the family!!!

Today a group of card makers...quite a large group actually of over 60......are joining forces to wish Lesley and Corey Croghan HUGE congratulations on the upcoming birth of their little baby girl!!

How you ask? Well we have all made a baby card or some time of project and sent it off to Lesley and Corey and also have linked a blog post showing our projects in the form of a blog hop. I am so excited and honoured to be joining in this fun blog hop!

I first "met" Lesley when she invited me to be a part of her challenge blog Seize the Birthday back in 2014. One of the sweetest persons to "work" (LOL) for.

Lesley I wish you and Corey all the best as you enter the greatest chapter of your lives!! Give that sweet girl...when she arrives...a snuggle for me!

Have fun and see all the other baby projects that are linked up onto Lori's blog right here.
A huge thanks to Lori for organizing this fun hop!

The Best!!

It's time to start participating in some blog challenges. This layout was created for the challenge at Scrap The Boys. We are to use a boy only photo...as usual...and then to use numbers.

I snapped a photo of my Great Nephew Ryan at my Grandson's birthday party and for the numbers component of the challenge I used this great patterned paper just full of numbers...lol!

A little bit of layering, washi tape, mist splatters and the layout is done. Thanks Scrap the Boys for the challenge!

See you soon!

Mouse and Me

My Grandson Luca turned 1 in August and his birthday party was Mickey Mouse themed. He LOVES Mickey.

The Magical Adventure collection by Echo Park was perfect to scrap some photos with!

I also used the awesome October Sketch at Creative Scrappers for inspiration.

I am also entering this layout in Paper Issues Take 5 challenge and the October challenge at Clique Kits.

So glad that you stopped by to take a look!

Go Jays Go!!

Yes we were Blue Jay proud here in St.Catharines and they had a new fan....my grandson Luca! He was so cute in his Blue Jay outfit!!

I used the great sketch at Scrap the Boys to get this layout done. I dug through my stash to find some red white and blue papers and embellishments.

I will also be entering this in the Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues and the October challenge at Clique Kits.

Thanks for stopping by again!

The exclusive floral paper is so gorgeous!! I fussy cut some of the flowers out and tucked them around my photo. I added wood veneer and a dusting of the sequins. Here is a little close-up.

Clique Kits May Pep Rally

Hi there and welcome!  I am joining some of the DT and members of Clique Kits to share some projects that we have created using the May kit  "Northern Lights". It's always fun to see all the different projects created from the same kit.
The beautiful Kit features Fancy Pants Atwell collection and Basic Grey's Urban Luxe collection.

I had a lot of fun creating my layout. I used a BG paper as my background and the strips at the top and bottom are also BG. The green photo mat is Fancy Pants paper.

I used a cut file from Just Nick to anchor my photo and embellishments. The cut file was backed with BG paper and I added messy stitching for some added texture.

The whole design of my layout was based on a sketch from Creative Scrappers.. I'm so glad they are back!!

Here are a couple of closeups.

Here is the list of everyone on the blog share today. Come hop along and check out all the fabulous projects!! Don't forget to comment along the way for your chance in winning a May kit of your very own!

I am also entering my layout in the Take 5 Challenge at Paper Issues.
